SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Commercial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, an Aerospace & Defense (A&D) manufacturing business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

·      Hold Period: Exit planned for 2027

·      Deal Structure: Control buyout

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale within 4-5 years.

·      Integrate and rebrand the first three acquisitions made under this holding company

·      Transform this entrepreneurially led company into a powerful platform business.

·      Acquire add-ons that will add scale, product, cross-sell, and multiple arbitrage.

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

·      Business Model: Aerospace & Defense (A&D) manufacturing

·      Functional: Top commercial leader of a $500mm+ manufacturing company OR number two commercial leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $2B+ revenue.

·      Orientation: Heavy sales orientation is required with related experience across marketing, strategy, and operations

·      Private Equity: Not required

·      M&A: Nice to have

·      Tenure: 20+ years of progressive career success
