RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners 

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Revenue Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a SaaS business with a high-velocity sales cycle and short-term exit horizon. The sponsor has invested heavily to drive the company's scale before eyeing an exit in early 2026. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity. The opportunity for a quick liquidity event is especially compelling. 

THE COMPANY: 

  • Business Model: B2B SaaS and Services 
  • End Market: Infrastructure, Utilities, Individual Businesses 
  • Revenue Range: Mid-market 
  • Hold Period: Exit planned for 2026 
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout 

INVESTMENT THESIS: Drive scale and lead the company through exit by early 2026 

  • Execute within an established GTM framework to drive results and operational excellence 
  • Scale the sales team and optimize their performance  
  • Drive revenue growth across all customer verticals, segments and profiles 

THE SPONSOR: This San Francisco-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include professional services, software, industrial services, environmental services, and manufacturing. Today the sponsor owns dozens of active portfolio companies and has over $10B in AUM.   

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: B2B SaaS business with high-velocity, low ASP sales motion 
  • Functional: Top commercial leader of a middle-market software company OR number two commercial leader within a larger enterprise 
  • Orientation: Sales Management  
  • Private Equity: Not required, but preferred 
  • M&A: Not required 
  • Tenure: 20+ years of progressive career success
